1.1 Israel Controls the British Foreign Office: Former Conservative Foreign Minister Alan Duncan and Shadow Minister/Incumbent David Lammy
From revelations about Israeli efforts to “destroy” him, to attempts by a powerful pro-Israel lobby group to stop him becoming a minister for the Middle East, Sir Alan Duncan saw up close the power of the Israeli state in British politics during his time at the heart of the UK government.
Duncan served as British foreign minister from 2016–19, having previously held the international development brief. His new book, In The Thick Of It, reveals much about UK government policy that has been missed by the British press and broadcasters.
At the beginning of 2017, media outlet Al Jazeera contacted Duncan to inform him about its undercover investigation into Israeli influence in UK politics, which included revelations related to him personally.
Duncan wrote in his diary that Al Jazeera “has footage of diplomats from the Israeli embassy in London collaborating with MPs from both Labour and Conservatives on Israel”. He said this included Shai Masot, a diplomat from the Israeli embassy “calling for them to destroy the ‘Deputy Foreign Minister’ (i.e. me), so that he never becomes Foreign Secretary”.
Duncan added: “They say that if [then foreign secretary] Boris [Johnson] were to be sacked, I’d take over and so both such moments have to be stopped.”
Days later, Duncan went to the Foreign Office to brief Simon McDonald, who was then running the department, on the revelations.
Duncan wrote: “I teasingly remind him of what happened and what I said to him on my first day as minister. ‘Simon… didn’t I tell you? The CFI and the Israelis think they control the Foreign Office. And they do!’”
The CFI is Conservative Friends of Israel, a powerful Westminster lobby group that does not disclose its funders but has claimed 80% of Conservative MPs are members.
Alan Duncan: “The perverse and I would argue corrupt relationship between the Conservative Friends of Israel [CFI] and the top of the Conservative Party — this has gone on for too long. Money, improper influence, and the promotion of Israeli interests above our own have contributed to the destruction of the UK’s independent foreign policy. And guess what: When Larry Ellison’s company Oracle procured the contract to store the data of the Ministry of Defence, the Home Office, the Foreign Office and the NHS, the Larry Ellison Foundation was closed that very month.

Altice entered the American telecommunications market in 2015 by purchasing 70% of Suddenlink Communications, the seventh-largest cable company in the US.[4][10][15] Later in 2015, Drahi bought Cablevision from the Dolan family, renaming it Altice USA with its flagship brand Optimum being the fifth largest cable operator in the USA.[13][16] In 2018, the Dolans sued Altice USA over alleged violations of the terms of the sale.[17]
In September 2020, to take the company private, Drahi offered €2.5 billion to minority shareholders of Altice.[18] An increased bid was accepted in January 2021.[19]

1.4 Israel Sabotaged Progressive Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn
So when leftist Michael Foot became Labour leader in 1980 (until 1983), the imperialist establishment — including from within Labour — undermined and sabotaged Foot in very much the same way as they did it later against leftist Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn (2015–2020):
Following Foot’s election as leader, opinion polls showed a double-digit lead for Labour, boosting his hopes of becoming prime minister at the next general election, which had to be held by May 1984.
When Foot became leader, the Conservative politician Kenneth Baker commented: “Labour was led by Dixon of Dock Green under Jim Callaghan. Now it is led by Worzel Gummidge.”[3] Foot’s nickname in the press gradually became “Worzel Gummidge”, or “Worzel”.[4] This became particularly common after Remembrance Day 1981, when he attended the Cenotaph observance wearing a coat that some said resembled a donkey jacket.[2] After his tenure as leader, Foot would be “depicted as a scarecrow on ITV’s satirical puppet show Spitting Image.”[3]
Almost immediately following his election as leader, he was faced with a serious crisis. On 25 January 1981, four senior politicians on the right-wing of the Labour Party (Roy Jenkins, Shirley Williams, David Owen and William Rodgers, the so-called “Gang of Four”) left Labour and formed the Social Democratic Party, which was launched on 26 March 1981. This was largely seen as the consequence of the Labour Party’s swing to the left, polarising divisions in an already divided party.[38]
The SDP won the support of large sections of the British media. For most of 1981 and early 1982, its opinion poll ratings suggested that the SDP could at least overtake Labour and possibly win a general election. The Conservatives were then unpopular because of the economic policies of Margaret Thatcher, which had seen unemployment reach a postwar high.

Some 180 of Britain’s 650 MPs in the last parliament accepted funding from pro-Israel lobby groups or individuals during their political career, Declassified can reveal.
That includes 130 Conservative MPs, 41 Labour MPs and three Liberal Democrats.
Three members of the DUP, two independents and Reform’s only MP complete the list.
The total value of the donations from pro-Israel groups, individuals, and Israeli state institutions amounts to over one million pounds.
Between them, the politicians made over 240 paid-for trips to Israel, at a cost of over half a million pounds.
Some of those trips involved visits to the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and a small number were co-sponsored by groups which do not form part of the Israel lobby.
Remarkably, fifteen MPs have accepted funding to travel to Israel amid the Gaza genocide.
Huda Ammori, the co-founder of the direct action network Palestine Action, told Declassified: “Accepting funding from a lobby group on behalf of the perpetrators of a genocide should immediately bar anyone from standing as an MP.
“To see how politicians continue to travel to Israel and engage with the genocide lobby explains why our government continues to defy international law by facilitating Israel’s war crimes”.

No MPs from the Scottish National Party, Sinn Fein, Plaid Cymru, SDLP, Alba, Greens, Alliance or Workers Party received hospitality or funding from the lobby.

The UK’s Labour Party deselected Faiza Shaheen as a candidate for the marginal London seat of Chingford and Woodford Green over a series of social media posts which expressed support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS), praised former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, and backed candidates running for the Green Party, among other issues, Middle East Eye has been told.
In a social media post on Thursday, Shaheen, who was due to take on former Conservative Party leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith at next month’s general election, said: “I’m in such shock, but I’m a fighter.
“As you can imagine, I’m a little overwhelmed right now, so will use this morning to meet with my campaign and legal teams to discuss my next steps, as well as have some hugs with my baby,” she said.
On Wednesday, the 41-year-old was told that she was not being selected by Labour’s National Executive Committee (NEC) after she liked social media posts that reportedly downplayed antisemitism accusations.
In a heartfelt interview, she told the BBC’s Newsnight programme that she received an email from the NEC an hour before appearing on the show, in which she was told that she would be barred from standing for the party — despite having previously contested the same seat in the 2019 election — because her running would “frustrate Labour’s purpose”.

Wes Streeting has received nearly £30,000 from Britain’s powerful pro-Israel lobby, Declassified has found.
Two years ago, Streeting became the first member of Keir Starmer’s shadow cabinet to visit Israel, in a move designed to signal a break with Jeremy Corbyn’s pro-Palestine position.
The trip was paid for by Labour Friends of Israel (LFI) and cost £4,700. LFI also paid for Sarah Harrison, one of Streeting’s staffers, to visit Israel with him.
Another Streeting staffer, Anna Wilson, was paid an undisclosed amount to visit Israel last July.
Her trip was funded by the European Leadership Network, a group whose UK branch is run by Joan Ryan, former chair of LFI.
LFI is a secretive organisation that does not disclose its funders, although undercover reporting revealed Ryan, then a Labour MP, discussing a £1 million payment from Israel with Shai Masot, an Israeli diplomat, in 2016.
In another covertly filmed conversation outside a London pub, LFI’s Michael Rubin said that he and Masot “work really closely together…but a lot of it is behind the scenes”.
Masot was eventually forced to quit his job at the Israeli embassy and return home after he was caught on camera plotting to “take down” British MPs.

Britain will not withdraw its objection to the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor’s application for arrest warrants targeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his defence minister, Yoav Gallant, according to an Israeli news outlet.
The newspaper Maariv said British Foreign Secretary David Lammy had given assurances that the UK will maintain its objection to the application that was initially raised by the Conservative government in Downing Street.
Netanyahu and Gallant are accused of crimes against humanity and war crimes by ICC prosecutor Karim Khan.

Earlier this month, the Guardian reported that Labour government would drop its attempt to delay the ICC’s decision.
The report by Maariv came after reports last week that the US was lobbying the Labour government to not to drop the legal challenge.
If the Maariv report is confirmed, it would suggest those lobbying efforts have been successful.

A senior BBC editor at the center of an ongoing scandal into the network’s systematic pro-Israel bias is, in fact, a former member of a CIA propaganda outfit, MintPress News can reveal. Raffi Berg, an Englishman who heads the BBC’s Middle East desk, formerly worked for the U.S. State Department’s Foreign Broadcast Information Service, a unit that, by his own admission, was a CIA front group.
Berg is currently the subject of considerable scrutiny after thirteen BBC employees spoke out, claiming, among other things, that his “entire job is to water down everything that’s too critical of Israel” and that he holds “wild” amounts of power at the British state broadcaster, that there exists a culture of “extreme fear” at the BBC about publishing anything critical of Israel, and that Berg himself plays a key role in turning its coverage into “systematic Israeli propaganda.” The BBC has disputed these claims.

Berg came to public attention in December after Drop Site News published an investigation based on interviews with 13 BBC staffers who present him as a domineering figure, systematically blocking coverage critical of Israel and manipulating stories to suit pro-Israel narratives.
The 9000-word report, written by popular journalist Owen Jones, is extensive and well-researched. However, one aspect of the story it almost completely avoids is Berg’s connections to the U.S. national security state, which MintPress News can now reveal.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Berg was an employee of the U.S. State Department’s Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) three years before joining the BBC. The FBIS is understood the world over to be a CIA front group known for gathering intelligence for the agency.
As the first two lines of its Wikipedia entry read:
The Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) was an open source intelligence component of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Science and Technology. It monitored, translated, and disseminated within the U.S. government openly available news and information from media sources outside the United States.
In 2005, the FBIS was subsumed into the CIA’s new Open Source Enterprise.
Berg does not dispute that he was, in fact, a CIA man. In fact, according to a 2020 interview with The Jewish Telegraph, he was “absolutely thrilled” to be secretly working for the agency. Berg said, “One day, I was taken to one side and told, ‘you may or may not know that we are part of CIA, but don’t go telling people.’” He was unsurprised by this news, as the application process was extremely long and rigorous. “They went through my character and background with a fine tooth comb, asking if I had ever visited communist countries and, if I had, did I form any relationships while I was there,” he said.
Mossad Collaborator
The CIA, however, is not the only clandestine spy organization with which Berg has a long history of collaborating. He also has a rich professional relationship with Mossad, Israel’s premier intelligence agency.
In 2020, for instance, Berg published “Red Sea Spies: The True Story of Mossad’s Fake Diving Resort,” a book that tells the story of the Israeli operation to clandestinely smuggle Ethiopian Jews into Israel. That the 320-page account lionizes Israel and its spies is perhaps unsurprising, considering how much input Mossad had in its creation. Berg said that he wrote the book “in collaboration” with Mossad commander Dani Limor, whom he relied on extensively, as he, in his own words, knew “next to nothing” about the story and its background before writing it. Limor opened numerous doors and was able to secure “over 100 hours of interviews” with Israeli military and intelligence officials, including with the head of Mossad.
Limor and Berg became extremely close friends. In 2020, he posted a picture of himself with his arm around the ex-Mossad commander. The first page of “Red Sea Spies” is simply a glowing recommendation from Efraim Halevy, former director of Mossad, a group Berg describes as “the world’s greatest intelligence service.”
Berg has aggressively promoted his book and has, on multiple occasions, expressed his delight that Benjamin Netanyahu has shown interest in it. In August 2020, for example, he shared a picture of Netanyahu at his desk in front of a copy of his book. “First time I’ve been on a prime minister’s bookshelf” I know I’ve got one of Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu’s on mine — but wow!” he exclaimed, tagging Mossad, the Israeli Likud Party, and the Israeli Embassies in the United Kingdom and United States.
The following year, he messaged Netanyahu’s son, Yair, stating, “Your dad has my book, ‘Red Sea Spies: The True Story of the Mossad’s Fake Diving Resort,’ and sent me a lovely letter about it.” That letter can be seen on the wall of Berg’s office in his many public posts and videos, framed and placed beside pictures of him meeting a Mossad commander and meeting Mark Regev, the former spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office.
That a BBC Middle East editor would not only frame these images and documents and put them pride of place in his office but also choose to display them while talking publicly and in an official role is telling. The BBC sells itself as an impartial distributor of news on the Middle East and beyond. And yet, Berg, who, by most accounts, calls the shots when it comes to the network’s Israel-Palestine coverage, clearly believes that this is acceptable and unremarkable behavior.
If the opposite were true — that even a low-level BBC employee was openly sharing pictures of themselves embracing Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar or displaying a glowing letter from Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei — it is clear that there would be serious repercussions. The BBC suspended six of its reporters for simply liking pro-Palestine tweets. And yet, in Berg’s case, his overt pro-Israel advocacy has been treated as entirely unproblematic.
Relentlessly Pro-Israel
Of course, it is entirely possible that a pro-Israel stance would help one climb the ladder at the BBC, an organization long known to display a strong bias in favor of the country and its interests.
Born and raised in England, Berg always took a keen interest in Israel, moving there to study Jewish and Israel Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He worked at the FBIS between 1997 and 1998 and joined the BBC in 2001, starting as a world news writer and producer.
One of his first BBC articles profiled the Israeli military and its recruits, presenting the IDF as brave protectors of their homeland and as a “source of national pride” and framed women serving as a win for sexual equality.
In 2009, at the height of Operation Cast Lead — the Israeli attack on Gaza that killed more than 1,000 people — Berg attended a pro-Israel demonstration in central London. Moreover, he even chastised the Israeli newspaper, The Jerusalem Post, for noting that only 5,000 people showed up to the event. In Berg’s opinion, there were three times as many in attendance. The BBC would later change its guidelines to prevent its newsroom employees from attending controversial demonstrations.
During Operation Cast Lead, the Israeli military was found to have indiscriminately targeted and killed civilians, used Palestinians as human shields, and used banned chemical weapons, such as white phosphorous, on civilian areas.
Three years later, in November 2012, Israel launched Operation Pillar of Defense, a high-profile, bloody assault on Gaza that made worldwide headlines. As Israel bombarded the densely-populated civilian area, Berg went on his own internal offensive, telling his BBC colleagues to word their stories in a way that does not blame or “put undue emphasis” on Israel. Instead, leaked emails show, he encouraged journalists to present the attack as an operation “aimed at ending rocket fire from Gaza,” thereby framing Hamas as the aggressor.
Another Berg email instructed his coworkers to “Please remember, Israel doesn’t maintain a blockade around Gaza. Egypt controls the southern border” — a highly contestable opinion not shared by the United Nations, which declared that Israel was the occupying power besieging the strip.
Extraordinary Revelations
Shortly after Operation Pillar of Defense, Berg was promoted, becoming head of the BBC’s Middle East desk. This position gives him enormous influence in shaping the platform’s presentation of Israel’s current war on Gaza. In this role, he has helped turn the network into “systematic Israeli propaganda,” according to one journalist quoted by Jones in his Drop Site investigation. “This guy’s entire job is to water down everything that’s too critical of Israel,” said another.
The BBC staff Jones talked to painted a picture of a pro-Israel zealot systematically suppressing any content or information that would paint Tel Aviv in a negative light. A micromanager, numerous journalists reportedly attempted to notify management of their issues with Berg, but their complaints fell on deaf ears. “Almost every correspondent you know has an issue with him,” one staffer stated. “He has been named in multiple meetings, but [management] just ignore it.”
“How much power he has is wild,” another journalist told Jones, who explained that essentially every story or segment featuring Israel would have to be signed off by Berg first, even leaving other editors in “extreme fear” of commissioning anything without his approval.
Berg is alleged to have made extensive pre-publication edits to others’ stories, changing the framing of news events to shield Israel from blame. One example of this is the whitewashing of the Israeli attack on the funeral of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. In May 2022, Israeli snipers shot the Al Jazeera anchor in the head and proceeded to lie about their culpability. Israeli forces subsequently attacked the public funeral, beating mourners and firing tear gas. The BBC’s text, allegedly penned by Berg himself, read:
Violence broke out at the funeral in East Jerusalem of reporter Shireen Abu Aqla, killed during an Israeli military operation in the occupied West Bank.
Her coffin was jostled as Israeli police and Palestinians clashed as it left a hospital in East Jerusalem.
Thus, Abu Akleh’s murder by Israeli forces was downgraded to a mere death during an operation (with no perpetrator mentioned), while a police attack on a funeral procession was presented as a “clash” between rival factions, presumably of roughly equal responsibility.
A more recent example of this, Jones claims, comes from a July story about IDF soldiers setting an attack dog on Muhammed Bhar, a severely disabled Gazan man, and letting him bleed to death. Under Berg’s supervision, the original headline ran: “The Lonely Death of Gaza Man with Down’s Syndrome.” Only after a gigantic worldwide outcry did the BBC change its framing to note anything about how Bhar met his end. “There has to be a moral line drawn in the sand. And if this story isn’t it, then what?” one BBC journalist said, commenting on the affair.
Since the investigation was published, Berg has remained silent, although he has hired defamation lawyer Mark Lewis, the former director of U.K. Lawyers for Israel.
The BBC, meanwhile, has offered unequivocal support for him and his work, rejected any suggestion of a lenient stance towards Israel, and alleges that the Drop Site article “fundamentally misdescribe[s] Berg’s power, influence, and how the network works.

Ms Kahn, who was raised in Israel but has campaigned against the occupation for more than fifty years, has said that she ‘had no excuse’ for not working for Palestinian freedom after realising that her life in Israel was ‘built on the destruction of other people’:
When you find out that your life was built on the destruction of other people, you have a responsibility. I lived on the land stolen from them, so I have no excuse.
Her friends and allies told Skwawkbox that Ms Kahn is ‘angry, very angry’, but otherwise ok — on this occasion — and was beginning her strike immediately in protest at the targeting of pro-Palestinian campaigners.
A growing number of Ms Kahn’s supporters is picketing Holborn police station where she is being held.
The Starmer government, which has refused to condemn Israel’s actions and has said it considers the use of the word ‘genocide’ unhelpful, is engaged in an escalating campaign of abusing anti-terror legislation to raid and arrest journalists and activists — many of them, like Ms Kahn, Jewish — who expose Israel’s war crimes.

British Ziofascists against the Irish band Kneecap:
An all out ban on Hezbollah was always controversial because of the group’s position in running Lebanon, which is a UK ally. The Conservative government eventually took the decision under pressure from groups and individuals who are well connected in Israel.
In an interview in August 2023, Lord Stuart Polak, referring to the push to proscribe Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said, “I think what we need to do is just pure lobbying action.”
He added: “It will happen and I think a number of people have said it’s just how long it takes for it to happen. It took us ages with Hezbollah. Again, why? Because I think it’s just easier for civil servants not to change.”
The “us” Polak was referring to is likely Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI), a powerful Westminster lobby group that does not divulge its funders but claims 80% of Tory MPs are members.
Polak is honorary president of the organisation and was its director for 25 years.
When Hezbollah’s proscription was debated in the Lords in February 2019, Polak spoke strongly in favour. He took a swipe at then Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, saying: “Very few of us would call Hezbollah our friend.”
Another Tory peer, Eric Pickles, who was CFI’s leader in the Lords, told the chamber on the same day that in 2019 he wanted to “pay tribute to my noble friend Lord Polak, who has been a champion of this over a number of years and has kept this issue in the minds of both Houses of Parliament. He deserves considerable credit for arriving at this decision.”
A proscribed group in Britain “is an organisation or group that is illegal to join or show support for, because it has been identified as being concerned in terrorism”, according to the police.
Kneecap, a popular Irish hip-hop group, has been the target of a massive cancellation campaign by the Zionist movement in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
All the usual suspects have been involved, including public letters from the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the misnamed Campaign Against Antisemitism.
However, there is another key Zionist group that prefers to operate undercover whenever possible.
Sometimes it mobilizes openly, as it did on 12 October 2023, when it called for support of the Israeli regime as it “takes the necessary steps to defend its citizens.”
In other cases, it conducts its bullying campaigns — supporting genocide — in the shadows.
Press TV show Palestine Declassified obtained private correspondence sent to the Glastonbury Festival, attempting to intimidate the organizers into cancelling Kneecap.
Marked “Private and Confidential,” the email states that the authors wanted to “raise” Glastonbury’s “awareness” about Kneecap. The message further claims the band is “propagating hate” and therefore should not be protected by “free speech,” a notion the letter writers claim to support.
The message continued: “The silence of our allies has sadly at times been a contributory factor to the way anti-Israel rhetoric has become a proxy for anti-semitism.”
The message also patronisingly claimed, “I feel it is incredibly important… to raise your awareness around your booking of the band Kneecap”.
It goes on to moan that “whilst we all support free speech, we cannot accept it when it drifts into whipping up hateful rhetoric that is essentially denying Israel’s right to exist”.

The first signatory of a slew of industry insiders (34 in all) was David Levy of talent group WME Agency.
Levy is widely known as a genocidal racist who even objects (in the letter) to the waving of Palestinian flags at Glastonbury and has condoned Israeli war crimes over the past 600 days in Gaza.
He is the agent for a range of artists including AIR, Björk, Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, LCD Soundsystem and Willow. As with many Zionists, he squats on the territory of genuine anti-racists.
This is visible, for example, when he was asked if he could go back in time, and see any concert. Who would you see and when?” His reply: “Bob Marley at the Rainbow, London, 1977.”
He was a prominent signatory to the “Israel Under Attack” letter published by Creative Community for Peace (CCfP) on 11 October 2023. This provides a clear clue that the letter was organized by industry insiders working with CCfP, as David Levy is an advisory board member of the group.
CCfP is a US-based Zionist organization that operates within the music and entertainment industry. However, it carefully conceals the fact that it is actually a front group for StandWithUs (SWU), a long-established anti-Palestinian, pro-settler lobby group.
Official registration documents reveal that StandWithUs and Creative Community for Peace are simply alternate names for a single IRS-registered non-profit: the Israel Emergency Alliance.
StandWithUs is known to have received direct grants from the Israeli government. According to former Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, Israel uses groups like these to “amplify our power” and for “leverage.” In other words, it is a regime cat’s paw.
One name that stands out in the Zionist pressure campaign against Kneecap is Paul Samuels. It is said that Samuels once wanted to sign the group, as recently as 2023, in fact. But now, here he is, covertly attempting to have Kneecap cancelled to better support the genocide in Gaza.

Samuels has been somewhat coy about his support for Israel’s actions. In 2024, he was exposed on X (formerly Twitter) as a Zionist figure in the music industry.
Screenshots of his Instagram account were circulated as evidence, including the fact that he followed StandWithUs — the very organization behind the secret letter to Glastonbury that Samuels himself had signed.
In response to this exposure, he promptly made his account private.
The role of Zionists in infiltrating anti-racist groups is becoming increasingly visible due to the ongoing genocide. In previous research, we demonstrated how one of the earliest anti-racist groups in the UK — the 43 Group, founded in the 1940s — affiliated en bloc with the Revisionist Zionist terror organization, the Irgun, and sent members to participate in the Nakba in Palestine.
Those involved, along with their descendants, have continued to play prominent roles in various effectively Zionist “anti-racist” groups up to the present day.
Notably, a follow-up organization to the 43 Group — the 62 Group, active in the 1960s — served as a springboard for many of these efforts. Key figures from the 62 Group included head of intelligence Gerry Gable and head of finance Gerald Ronson (a convicted fraudster).
Among the Zionist groups they went on to establish were the Jewish Aid Committee of Britain, Searchlight, the Community Security Trust, Hope Not Hate, and Tell Mama.
Alongside these explicitly Zionist “anti-racist” groups, broader alliances also emerged, many of which were either co-opted, infiltrated, or ultimately sabotaged by Zionist influence.
One such example is Love Music Hate Racism, which came out of the tradition of grassroots, broad-based anti-racist movements aimed at building genuine unity.
The history of these groups — starting in the 1970s with the Anti-Nazi League, followed by Unite Against Fascism, Stand Up To Racism, Rock Against Racism, and ultimately Love Music Hate Racism — has consistently included Zionist infiltration from the very beginning.
That infiltration always comes at a cost. First, there is a particular form of racism that cannot be challenged: Zionism. Second, it becomes impossible to offer genuine support for Palestinians, to properly address Islamophobia, or to effectively confront institutional and state racism.
Instead, attention is diverted toward a politically and practically less threatening target: the “far right.”
This dynamic is clearly illustrated in the intervention by Paul Samuels in the campaign to cancel Kneecap.

Israel’s former top military officer, General Aviv Kohavi held private meetings with the editors of major British news organisations one month after the Gaza bombing began, Declassified can reveal.
The meetings took place with Katherine Viner, editor-in-chief of the Guardian, Richard Burgess, director of news content at the BBC, and Roula Khalaf, editor of the Financial Times.
Further meetings were due to be held with Sky News chairman David Rhodes at the Israeli embassy, and then shadow foreign secretary David Lammy, between 7 and 9 November 2023, according to Kohavi’s itinerary.
By this time, Israeli forces had killed over 10,000 Palestinians in Gaza, and Israeli officials had made several public statements of genocidal intent. Kohavi had only stepped down from running Israel’s military months earlier.
During his tenure, he justified attacks on journalists, saying the soldiers who shot reporter Shireen Abu Akleh in the West Bank “showed courage” and that he had not one “gram of regret” for flattening the Associated Press (AP) office in Gaza.

Documents released by the British government reveal that London has been coordinating with Israeli officials to prosecute protestors associated with activist group Palestine Action for disrupting the operations of Elbit Systems, which manufactures deadly weapons being used in the genocide in Gaza.
The documents highlight a years-long Israeli influence campaign, and suggest that Tel Aviv’s meddling has prompted London to abandon well-established legal standards in order to charge anti-genocide activists under highly politicized counter-terror provisions.
One especially revealing document shows the British Attorney General’s Office (AGO) furnishing their Israeli counterparts with guidance on how to avoid an arrest warrant for war crimes, reassuring them that the Crown Prosecutorial Service (CPS) “has strengthened the procedural safeguards around the issuing of private arrest warrants in recent years.”
The Israelis have been on edge since former Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni was forced to cancel a trip to London in 2009 after a UK court issued an arrest warrant for her involvement in the blood-stained assault on Gaza that year. Leaked Israeli Ministry of Justice files revealed how Tel Aviv subsequently initiated an intensive — and ultimately successful — lobbying campaign to guarantee its officials “special mission” certificates which allowed them to visit London without the fear of arrest. As Declassified UK reported, the British government has granted Israel three special mission certificates through the Gaza genocide.

Another startling file released by the British government revealed that Nicola Smith, the Head of International Law at Britain’s Attorney General’s Office, shared “contact details” for UK prosecutors and counter-terror investigators with Israel’s deputy ambassador to London.
The email was sent to Israel’s deputy envoy, Daniela Grudsky Ekstein, with the subject line “Nicola Smith to Israelis re CPS/SO15 contact details,” indicating the UK government had referred Tel Aviv directly to the CPS, or Crown Prosecutorial Service, as well as to SO15, London’s counter-terror squad, to advance the prosecution of activists affiliated with Palestine Action.
Smith’s email, sent on September 9, 2024, came less than two weeks after Ekstein and Smith held an in-person meeting on August 29, 2024, at Israel’s notoriously spy-infested embassy in London. The message is chummily addressed from “Nicky” to “Daniela,” suggesting warm relations between the two.
Earlier that month, 10 Palestine Action activists were imprisoned after raiding an Elbit factory in Filton, South West England. They destroyed Israeli quadcopters constructed on the grounds. These small drones have been routinely used to maim and murder Palestinian civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Activists who demonstrated against Elbit are currently being detained under “counter-terror” powers, despite facing non-terror related charges such as criminal damage, prompting UN rapporteurs to issue a statement condemning their confinement. The CPS has indicated it will argue their offenses had a “terrorist connection” in order to maximize their sentences.
The files released by the British government suggest the Israeli government has pushed for incarceration and prosecution of the Palestine Action demonstrators, who were known at the time as the “Filton 10.”
The August 2024 rendezvous was not the first face-to-face interaction between Smith, the international law advisor to the UK AGO, and the deputy Israeli ambassador, Ekstein. A month beforehand, the two met alongside Israeli Embassy Counsellor of Political Affairs Yosef Zilberman and UK AGO Director Douglas Wilson. The back-to-back meetings hint at frequent coordination between the British and Israeli embassies — a notion reinforced by declassified emails reviewed by The Grayzone from May 2022 showing Israeli embassy officials in London secretly met with AGO representatives, including Wilson.
Though records of the summit are redacted, it seems Tel Aviv was trying to interfere in ongoing cases against Palestine solidarity protesters. In a subsequent email to Israeli embassy apparatchiks, Wilson signed off, “I know from previous experience there is well-established direct contact between [our] legal teams, both between capitals and via our missions in New York.”
Three months after AGO officials provided the Israeli embassy with contact details of the officers investigating the activists behind the raid of the Filton facility, ten more Palestine Action demonstrators involved in the action were arrested. Eight were subsequently charged and remanded in prison under the same counter-terror powers as the previous ten, and the group is now referred to as the “Filton 18.” If Israel was in any way responsible for this move, it would represent a clear breach of core CPS code, and another layer in what appears to be a major foreign meddling scandal.
As the Service’s General Principle 2.1 explicitly states, British “prosecutors must be free to carry out their professional duties without political interference and must not be affected by improper or undue pressure or influence from any source.”
Palestine Action cofounder Huda Amori has insisted that Tel Aviv is influencing the British prosecutions of anti-genocide protesters. “There is clear evidence showing continuous political and foreign interference in Palestine Action cases,” Amori told The Grayzone, and that “the ongoing prosecutions of journalists and activists who dare stand up for Palestine is politically motivated, and done under the influence of the Israeli embassy.”
“Any violation of the independence of the judiciary is an abuse of process under the rule of law,” she continued. “Therefore, the prosecutions must be stopped and the prisoners freed.” […]
British RAF spy flights over Gaza continue throughout the genocide:

The British government privately threatened to defund and withdraw from the International Criminal Court if it issued arrest warrants for Israeli leaders, Middle East Eye can reveal.
David Cameron, then foreign secretary in Rishi Sunak’s Conservative government, made the threat in April 2024 in a heated phone call with Karim Khan, the British chief prosecutor of the court.
Less than a month later, Khan announced that he was seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his then-defence minister, Yoav Gallant, as well as for Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh and Mohammed Deif.
In a statement at the time, Khan called for his office and the court to be allowed to carry out their work with “full independence and impartiality”.

MEE understands that on 16 March 2024, Khan’s extensive team of lawyers and researchers had decided they would be in a position to apply for warrants by the end of April.
On 25 March, Khan informed the US administration of his decision and forewarned them the warrants would be applied for by the end of April.
Then on 15 April in London, the prosecutor told British Justice Secretary Alex Chalk that he would apply for the warrants. Khan had asked to meet the foreign secretary, but Cameron was out of the country.
Cameron, a former British prime minister who was appointed foreign secretary by Sunak in November 2023, phoned Khan while the prosecutor was on an official visit to Venezuela on 23 April.
MEE can reveal details of the call based on information from a number of sources — including former staff in Khan’s office familiar with the conversation and who have seen the minutes of the meeting.
Cameron told Khan that applying for warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant would be “like dropping a hydrogen bomb”.
Cameron said it was one thing to investigate and prosecute Russia for a “war of aggression” on Ukraine, but quite another to prosecute Israel when it was “defending itself from the attacks of 7 October”.
He claimed the warrants would have “profound implications” in Britain and within his own Conservative Party.
Cameron then said that if the ICC issued warrants for Israeli leaders, the UK would “defund the court and withdraw from the Rome Statute”.
Article 127 of the Rome Statute, the ICC’s founding charter, allows countries to withdraw by written notification to the secretary-general of the UN.
‘Lose the dressing room’
Cameron, who currently sits as a Conservative peer in the House of Lords, the upper house of the UK parliament, accused the prosecutor of singling Israel out.
He asked why Khan’s office had not “prosecuted Iran for its attacks on Israel”.
He told the prosecutor he would “lose the dressing room” and be seen by many states including the US as “losing the plot”.
Cameron further said that if the ICC issued the warrants, the UK would be “required to arrest” Netanyahu if he travelled to the country.
Khan told Cameron that his office had engaged with Israel for the past three years, but it had “not resulted in any meaningful exchange of material relevant to investigations”.
According to MEE’s sources, the foreign secretary spoke aggressively and repeatedly shouted over Khan, who had to ask to be able to complete his points.
The prosecutor noted that his office was investigating crimes committed by Hamas as well as Israel, but Cameron said this was drawing a “moral equivalence” between the two.
He stated again that the UK would withdraw from the Rome Statute.
Khan replied that “if this were to occur then we would have to accept that the rules-based system would be dead”.
Cameron insisted that “the world is not ready for this”.
He told Khan he was “on the brink of making a huge mistake. You sometimes need to take a step back and consider things”.
But Khan refused to back down and continued defending his position.
He said there was a “serious risk” that many in the world would view the rules-based order as “not being applied equally”.
Khan thanked the foreign secretary for his call and the conversation ended without the two reaching any resolution.
Approached by MEE for a response to the exchange with Cameron, Khan said: “I have no comment to make at this time.”

The answer lies in Germany’s history — but it is not, as many assume tied to efforts to atone for the Nazi Holocaust and ensure that it never happens again.
Germany was never fully de-Nazified. It never attempted to come to terms with the politics that had led to the rise of Hitler.
In the wake of World War II the German state’s reacceptance into the international community was made contingent on a process of de-Nazification. However, this process was soon abandoned. It was overtaken by the Cold War. Germany made amends for its crimes against the Jews — but not the Roma — by providing unconditional and unlimited backing to the newly founded “Jewish state”, the West’s military outpost in Palestine: Israel.
Eliminating the political structures that led to the rise of the Nazis — imperialism and the German military-industrial complex — would have run counter to the need to oppose the Soviet Union.
In the immediate aftermath of the war, there was strong opposition in the West to German rearmament. The 1944 Morgenthau Plan, supported by then US President Roosevelt, called for the complete elimination of the German arms industry and other industries that could contribute to the rebuilding of a German military. Post-war Germany was to be an agricultural and pastoral state.
However, the Cold War meant the West needed Germany as part of the Western alliance. Chancellor Konrad Adenauer’s closest aide, Hans Globke, had been integrally involved in the implementation of the 1935 Nuremberg Race Laws. During the 1961 Eichmann trial “extraordinary precautions” were taken by Prosecutor Gideon Hausner to prevent Globke’s name from being made public.
In 1953, Germany started paying reparations — not to individual survivors of the Holocaust, but the state of Israel in the form of industrial goods, including weaponry. The West focussed on the Soviet Union. De-Nazification was quietly forgotten as Germany was integrated into Western military alliances, joining NATO in 1955.
Instead of the elimination of the genocidal ideology that paved the way for the Holocaust, as was originally intended, there was substituted an unconditional embrace of Israel. Israel is treated as Germany’s “reason of state“.

The UK and France will abandon previous plans to recognise a Palestinian state at an upcoming conference, according to diplomats.
France had been lobbying the UK and other European allies to recognise a Palestinian state at the conference in New York, due to be held between 17 and 20 June.
President Emmanuel Macron had described the move as “a moral duty and political requirement”, suggesting it could come in return for Saudi Arabia recognising Israel at the conference.
However, The Guardian has reported that French officials briefed their Israeli counterparts this week that the conference would not be the moment for recognition.
Instead, it will now focus on outlining steps towards recognition, contingent on a series of measures and concessions from the Palestinians.
These will include a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the release of Israeli captives, reform of the Palestinian Authority, economic reconstruction and the end of Hamas rule in Gaza.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said on Friday that recognising a Palestinian state at the conference would have been a “symbolic” decision and said they had a “particular responsibility” as a permanent member of the UN Security Council not to do so without the support of allies.
Kenneth Roth, former Executive Director of Human Rights Watch, expressed concerns that the recognition of a Palestinian state could end up being indefinitely delayed by the announced steps.
“Those steps should not be an endless (nonexistent) ‘peace process’ but pressure on Israel to stop obstructing a state,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Although 147 countries recognise the state of Palestine, much of Europe has been reluctant and long stated that such a move could only come with Israel’s approval and reciprocal moves from Arab states.
Ireland, Spain and Norway recognised a Palestinian state last year, and there has been an increasing consensus that recognition should come unilaterally as a means of pressuring Israel to change tack.
Last week, Israeli diplomat Alon Pinkas told Middle East Eye that France’s push to recognise Palestine was “serious and has the backing of most of the European Union and Saudi Arabia”.
However, both the UK and France have faced pressure from the US over the plans, while Israel has said it would expand its settlements in the occupied West Bank in response.
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said plans to build a further 22 settlements in the occupied territory were “a strategic move that prevents the establishment of a Palestinian state”.
In July last year, the Israeli parliament voted overwhelmingly to oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state, with only Palestinian lawmakers and a single left-wing Jewish MP voting in support.
Pinkas told MEE that while there was no meaningful domestic support in Israel or the parliament for Palestinian statehood, the international community’s pitch to Israel over ending the war should be that “we are your friends, we want you to succeed, this cannot go on… Netanyahu is driving you to unmitigated and irreparable disaster. Wake up, we are here to help”.
